In 2022 I began studying equestrian Arts. If you're not familiar with the song A horse is a horse of course of course by Mr Ed, let me share this beaut with you :-)
Just being in the presence of a well-mannered horse can ease symptoms in those suffering from PTSD.

Horses are gentle giants. Ever hear the figurative term “that horse has a lot of heart?” That’s also quite literal — a horse heart weighs, on average, seven to nine pounds, compared to a human’s measly little half-pounder.
Horses enjoy carrots🥕 apples 🍎 banana 🍌 as a delicious treat. An alfalfa based diet is really good for their digestive tract. Horses are generally very friendly animals and enjoy hanging out with their Horse friends. When you encounter horses, especially ones who are taken proper care of on a farm, you will notice how friendly they are. They will come right up to you and sniff you and nuzzle you.
General horse care maintenance involves keeping their hooves free from dirt by cleaning them out daily with a proper hoof cleaning tool. Also brushing them with a curry comb to remove as much dust from their coat as possible and grooming them with hard and soft brushes. When prepping them to be ridden it is of utmost importance to fasten the saddle properly so as to avoid hurting them or cutting their flesh in their underbelly. Horses are susceptible to eye irritation so fly masks can be a good investment to help keep the flies out of their eyes. Using non-toxic bug spray can also be a good solution for keeping the flies away. When working with horses they respond to an assertive calm tone; you never want to be too aggressive with them or they will respond by lashing out at you. As mentioned before, horses are generally fun-loving creatures & same way as humans, they love to be loved on!
A horse is a horse of course of course 🐎 💜
